What can I say? I am the happiest depressive you'll ever meet. I cry, panic, and despair sometimes, but I always manage to rise above it. I have the most amazing siblings, fiance (we're getting married on July 18th, 2009!), and friends to thank for that. I probably wouldn't be alive if I didn't have their love and support. Scratch that. I most definitely wouldn't be.
I am quite fond of political debates and cartoons, coffee (cream, no sugar) and tea (chai, usually), and sweet things in a vast and varying array of flavors and textures (but mostly chocolate in some gooey form). Marlboro Smooths are my cigarettes of choice, vodka's my favorite liquor (I can probably drink you under the table), and Labatt Blue is the only beer I can stomach. I love historical fiction, Harry Potter, and anything by Thomas Harris (Hannibal Lecter, hello!). I'm really into wedding stuff right now (most engaged women are, ha), so I enjoy all of the shows about it and wedding planning sites. I grow more obsessed with World of Warcraft by the day (I have both Alliance and Horde characters), but my heart will always belong to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I'm a bisexual, so gay rights and culture are very important to me. I loooooove drag queens and kings, musicals, Judy Garland, and Liza Minnelli (it IS possible to love them both). Pretty much, if something's gay, or could possibly be interpreted as gay, I'm all over it. ;-)
I'm a big music fan. Huge. And I can find redeeming qualities in any and all genres. I love rock, metal, and opera the best, though. I also sing (sopranos represent!), and I play the piano/keyboard a bit. I can't read music at all yet, though. It's a serious bummer.
